Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using The Bored Room (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

The Bored Room is an AI Operating System for business owners. It combines an AI Team, persistent business memory, Library, Business Map, Actions, frontier models, and connected systems so you can build or rebuild the business around closed-loop AI systems. The Service is currently in beta — features may change, and we do not guarantee uptime or availability.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide a valid email address. Accounts with unverified emails have limited access.
• You may not share your account or use the Service on behalf of others without their consent.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal activity or to generate harmful content.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage caps, or security measures.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service beyond your own account data.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
• Upload malicious files or content designed to exploit vulnerabilities.

5. Data Ownership

You own your data. Your conversations, business memories, documents, source material, linked sources, generated artifacts, Business Map records, and Actions belong to you. You can export or delete all of your data at any time from Settings. We do not claim any ownership or license over your content.

6. AI-Generated Content

AI responses and artifacts may be generated by third-party models (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) or connected systems. The Service does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before relying on it, publishing it, sending it, or using it for spend-affecting business decisions.

7. Service Availability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. During the beta period, we make no guarantees regarding uptime, performance, or data preservation. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the Service but reserve the right to modify or discontinue features.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Bored Room and its service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
